Okay, a moment of clarity here. Other than eBay, the great and mighty originator of online auctions as we know them and love them, are there any other players out there? Is there any real news in the online auction world?

There is now a rival to eBay that you need to know about right away. Where on eBay bids go up as people decide how much they want the item, on a new internet auction site called DubLI.com, bids do not go up, they go down!
Yes, down!!!
Other than eBay and the typical online auction format, this new DubLI internet auction enables bidders to buy credits to enable them to take a look at the blind price of the item. The price is not revealed to the general public, only to the bidders who “spend” their DubLI credits!
